VANCOUVER – Former Sutherlin basketball standout Kayce Mock was selected as the Northwest Athletic Conference women’s player of the week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Mock led Clackamas Community College to a pair of wins last week to improve the fourth-ranked Cougars to a 10-3 season record. Mock averaged 12 points, 15.5 rebounds and 5 blocks in the two victories. The sophomore is currently the league’s rebound leader, averaging 14.5 boards a game, and is second in blocks with 3.1 per contest.
