SUTHERLIN – The Sutherlin boys basketball team couldn’t hold a first half lead after the break and Creswell took a 56-52 victory Tuesday night at the Dog Pound in Sutherlin.

Sutherlin was up 40-35 in the fourth period and let is slip away.

Mason Gill led Sutherlin (8-5) with a game-high 25 points, but missed free throws were costly in the end as the blue Bulldogs hit only 11-of-28 from the line.
