The Umpqua Community College women’s basketball team is getting ready to begin the season on Sunday, November 19 and head coach Dave Stricklin was a guest on Off The Wall on Friday, November 17 to preview the team. The Lady RiverHawks return an experienced core group and bring in a talented group of freshman. Coach Stricklin discusses what he expects out of his returning players after last year’s semifinal loss and how he plans to bring the group of freshman into the fold. Stricklin also talks about the team’s schedule, how it feels to see players sign with four-year universities, and how much fun he’s having coaching his daughter Taylor.
