ROSEBURG – The Indians improved to 3-1 on the season with a Southwestern Conference volleyball victory over Grants Pass Thursday night. Roseburg hosted the Caveman for their second conference battle of the year. The SWC matchup was won in four sets as Roseburg took the first two sets and the fourth and final one.

For the Tribe Hannah Bartlett led the team with 11 kills. Carolyn Cuilty added eight kills of her own, and Alyssa Fox finished with seven kills. Taylor Russell had 20 assists and 11 digs, Karey Lomica also had 11 digs and Katelyn Crawford put up 12 assists in the victory.

Up next for the team will be a trip up north on Saturday to meet South Eugene and begin play in the South Eugene Tourney.
