ALBANY, ORE. – The Roseburg girls soccer team finally got its season started on Thursday after two attempts to play the season opener were cancelled due to poor air quality. The Indians traveled to West Albany for a showdown with the Bulldogs, but were shutout 3-0.

The game will be Roseburg’s only non-conference match of the season after the Indians season opener against Thurston was cancelled. Roseburg will begin league play against the Sheldon Irish on Tuesday in Eugene.
