ROSEBURG – The Roseburg Renegades Junior State Baseball team remained undefeated in league play with a pair of wins over North Eugene at Legion Field on Wednesday.

Tanner Marlin tossed a complete game shutout to lead the Renegades to a 6-0 win in game one. North Eugene managed just four hits off of Marlin, who struck out eight batters over seven innings. Dawson Gillespie drove in three runs to lead Roseburg at the plate.

In game two, the Renegades overcame five errors to win 11-4. A seven-run fourth inning put the game out of reach, securing the sweep for Roseburg.

The Renegades are now 12-0 and will next visit the Thurston Colts for another league doubleheader today. The games start at 3 p.m. at Thurston High School.
