ROSEBURG – The Roseburg Pepsi Bottlecaps get their first game of the year underway Friday night against the Grants Pass Diggers at Legion Field. The league match-up will be the first test of for the Pepsi players after having their first two match-ups of the season cancelled.
The doubleheader gets started at 6 p.m.
The Umpqua Lions take a trip to Hidden Valley Friday looking for their first win of the year. The Lions are 0-1 and will take the field for game one of the twin bill at 4 p.m.
Also in action Friday is the Roseburg Renegades Junior State Baseball team. The Renegades take their 5-0 record to Eugene for a league doubleheader against the Sheldon Irish. Game one begins at 5 p.m. from Sheldon High School.
