The 4A All-State baseball honors were announced recently and four Umpqua Basin preps made the cut.

South Umpqua senior infielder Cody Gray was a 2nd team All-State selection this season, after helping lead the Lancers to the postseason. Gray was also an All-State selection in baseball as a junior.

South Umpqua’s Bailey Johnson was an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a pitcher this season. Douglas pitcher Carter Dahl and utility man Matt Gibson both made the Honorable Mention list after leading the Trojans to the postseason as well.
