CORVALLIS, Ore. – Jack Anderson and KJ Harrison homered and Luke Heimlich held Yale scoreless over seven to send top-seeded Oregon State to an 11-0 win Saturday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

With the win, Oregon State (51-4 overall) advances to the Corvallis Regional Championship game Sunday night at 7:04 p.m. PT. The Beavers will take on the winner of Yale and Holy Cross, who will play at 1:04 p.m. Sunday.

Anderson hit his first career home run in the first, helping the Beavers to a 2-0 lead before Heimlich threw a pitch. Then Harrison drove a two-run home run in the third to make it 4-0.

That was more than enough for Heimlich, but the Beavers tacked on a solo run in the fourth, then scored six in the sixth for the 11-run advantage.

Heimlich worked seven innings, striking out eight. He allowed a double in the fourth and single in the seventh en route to his 11th win of the season. The junior lowered his earned run average to 0.76 from 0.81 with the seven scoreless.

Oregon State chased starter Yale Eric Brodkowitz after 5 1/3 innings. The right-hander allowed 10 hits and nine runs, dropping to 6-3 on the year.

The Beavers tallied 16 hits off four Yale pitchers. Steven Kwan tied a career-high with four hits, while Elliott Cary tallied three and Harrison, Trevor Larnach and Adley Rutschman all had two. Cary tied a season and career high with a double and two singles.

16 Straight
No, not a win streak we’re talking about. The 3,474 in attendance at Saturday’s game marked Oregon State’s 16th consecutive sellout at Goss Stadium.

Anderson Goes Deep
Jack Anderson’s first-inning home run was the first of his career. His solo shot marked the Beavers’ fifth first-inning home run of the year and first since May 6 against California.

Double Digits
Saturday’s win marked the Beavers’ first offensive output of 10 or more runs in the postseason since an 11-4 in over Louisville at the 2013 College World Series. It’s the 13th time in Oregon State history the team has scored 10 or more in a postseason game.

Shutouts
Oregon State’s shutout Saturday night marked the team’s 14th of the season, which extends the team’s lead nationally. It is also now one shy of tying the 2014 Beavers for the most in a single-season in program history. The shutout was also the eighth all-time in Oregon State postseason history, and the first since Scott Schultz in 2014 against UC Irvine.

Home? Away?
Based on NCAA postseason rules, if the Beavers take on Yale Sunday night, OSU will be the home team. If it is Holy Cross, Oregon State will be the visiting team.
