ROSEBURG – The 12th annual Josh Bidwell Foundation Celebrity Benefit Golf Classic, Dinner and Auction is coming up this weekend at the Roseburg Country Club.

The event raises money to support the Community Cancer Center in Roseburg, Douglas County youth sports programs, and youth service organizations in the county.

The golf tournament is being held Saturday and the public is invited to come out before the teams tee off to meet some of the celebrities that will be on hand. Some of the big names taking part in the tournament this year are former Oregon basketball player Jordan Kent, former OSU tight end and Roseburg graduate Joe Newton, professional bowler Bryon Smith, and American Idol singer Elvie Shane.

The celebrity meet-and-greet begins at 10:30 a.m.
