ROSEBURG – Roseburg baseball is keeping its fingers crossed in hopes of getting to play a midweek conference game. The Indians have battled through wet conditions all season and haven’t been able to play a scheduled midweek game for the past two weeks. They will try to change that with a visit to North Medford on Tuesday for a single Southwest Conference game.

Roseburg moved into sole possession of first place in the conference standings over the weekend after pulling off a sweep against Willamette. The Tribe will look to extend their lead with a win over the Black Tornado.

The contest begins at 4:30 p.m. from Medford. Tune in for coverage of the game on 1490 The Score or watch the game online at 541radio.com. The pregame show gets underway at 4:15 p.m.

The Roseburg softball team is also hopeful for some dry conditions on Tuesday, as the Indians prepare to host first place North Medford. The Roseburg girls are just one-game behind the Black Tornado for first in the conference. A win for Roseburg would put the Indians in a tie for the league lead.
