BAKER CITY, ORE. – The North Douglas boys knocked Crosshill Christian out of the post season and advanced to play for a fourth place trophy with a 53-38 victory Thursday morning.

The Warriors led Crosshill Christian by just one at halftime, but they raced out in front during a 14-0 run in the third quarter. The run was powered by three-straight North Douglas 3-pointers. Riley Swafford hit back-to-back shots from long distance and Jayce Ellis added a third.

Swafford finished with 13 points and Ellis had 12. Caleb Parks led North Douglas with 14 points.

Andrew DeJager scored a game-high 15 points to lead Crosshill Christian in the loss. The Eagles finished the season with a 20-10 overall record.

Up next for North Douglas is a rematch against Days Creek in the fourth place game on Saturday. Days Creek and North Douglas are Skyline League rivals. During the regular season and league playoffs, the Wolves defeated the Warriors three times in four games.

The fourth place game tips off at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
