SUTHERLIN – The Sutherlin girls jumped out to an 18-4 lead after a quarter and were never threatened on their way to a 58-28 victory over the Sisters Outlaws at Sutherlin High School Friday night.
The Bulldogs were led by senior Taylor Stricklin with 22 points and junior Harlee Baker added 15. Freshman Kristen Haines had nine points on three 3-pointers.
Sutherlin improved to 7-1 in the Sky-Em League and 17-5 overall. They remain tied with Cottage Grove for first place and they will meet the Lions Tuesday night at Cottage Grove in the next to the last league game of the season, that will likely decide the league champion.
