ROSEBURG – The Roseburg wrestling team won two duals against conference opponents on Wednesday, but the Indians didn’t have to do much wrestling to claim victory.

Roseburg hosted South Eugene and Willamette at Stewart W. Robertson Memorial Gymnasium. It was the first home dual of the season for the Tribe.

Neither opponent brought a full roster of varsity wrestlers, so it made for a quick night. South Eugene forfeited all 14 matches, giving Roseburg an 84-0 win. The Tribe also defeated Willamette 84-0, but only wrestled two matches.

Against the Wolverines, Shane Sabins won his match by fall in :47 and Austin Harris won Roseburg’s other match by fall in 1:29.

Up next for the Indians is the Reser’s Tournament of Champions this weekend. Roseburg will try to top 21 other programs starting Friday morning in Hillsboro.
