ROSEBURG – With many high schools reopening their doors on Thursday, there are a few games on the schedule that might have a chance of getting played.
The Roseburg boys basketball team will play its final non-conference game before starting Southwest Conference play next week. The Indians are hosting McKay Thursday night at Stewart W. Robertson Memorial Gymnasium.
The Indians (3-7) have gotten out to a slow start, but have hung close with a number of top teams in the state. McKay (No. 10 OSAA) is another highly ranked opponent for Roseburg and the Scots have been lighting up the scoreboard, averaging nearly 90 points per game.
It could be a barn-burner when Roseburg and McKay tipoff at 6:45 p.m. Tune in for pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. on 1490 The Score and online at 541radio.com.
In other action scheduled for Thursday, Milo Adventist Academy will visit Myrtle Point. The girls play at 5 p.m. and the boys follow at 6:30 p.m.
