The latest men’s and women’s college basketball polls were released on Monday.
The Oregon men’s basketball team fell one spot to No. 21 in the Associated Press top 25. Over the last week since the last rankings were released, the Ducks played just one game, a 75-63 win over Fresno State.
The Ducks now gear up for a top 25 showdown against No. 2 UCLA to begin Pac-12 play on Wednesday. The Bruins are 13-0 entering conference play and received three first place votes in the AP top 25.
Oregon will also face No. 22 USC in the opening week of conference play.
The Oregon State women moved up three spots to No. 22 in women’s AP poll after winning the Play4Kay Shootout in Las Vegas last week.
The Beavers also won a Pac-12 weekly award. Guard Mikayla Pivec was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on Monday, following her performance during the Play4Kay Shootout.
Pivec is the first Beaver to win the award since Sydney Wiese was named Freshman of the Week in 2014, and is just the third Oregon State player to take the honor since the award began in 2012-13.
