JUNCTION CITY – Junction City overpowered Sutherlin Friday night 42-7 holding the Bulldogs scoreless until two minutes left in the game.
The Tigers’s Jake Rogers ran for touchdowns of 48 and 9 yards and Jesse McClintock threw for a score and ran for another as the Tigers built a 42-0 lead in the fourth quarter.
Sutherlin finally scored when Conner Grauf broke through for a 35-yard run with two minutes left.
Junction City finished the season 2-3 and 3-4 for the season.
Sutherlin (0-5, 0-7) will play a non- league game next Friday at home against Yamhill-Carlton at home to finish out the season.
