ROSEBURG – The Roseburg volleyball team finishes out the conference season on Tuesday with senior night against Willamette. The Indians have already clinched the Southwest Conference title and guaranteed themselves a spot in the first round of the 6A state playoffs next week.
Roseburg will try to end the regular season on a high note and send off eight seniors with a victory. The Indians and Wolverines tipoff at 6:45 p.m. at Roseburg High School.
Roseburg has also added an OSAA endowment game to the end of the regular season. The Indians will host Marist on Monday for one final tune-up before the state playoffs begin on Wednesday. The game tips off at 6 p.m. and tickets will cost $6 for adults and $4 for students. No passes of any kind will be accepted.
The Glide volleyball team will try to bounce back after its first league loss when the Wildcats visit La Pine at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Glide lost to Creswell last week, but still holds on to first place in the Mt. Valley Conference. In order to clinch the conference title, the Wildcats will most likely need to win their final two conference matches.
