UMPQUA BASIN – The South Umpqua football team heads to the coast on Friday for a showdown of the top teams in the Far West League. The No. 11 Lancers are 2-0 in league and face No. 1 North Bend, which is also 2-0 in league play.
The winner will have the upper hand in the race for the league title. The Lancers and Bulldogs kickoff at 7 p.m.
Douglas hosts Brookings-Harbor in a match of two teams looking to get back on track in the Far West League. Both teams are coming off loses and will try to find their way after early season success. The Trojans and Bruins kickoff at 7 p.m.
The Sutherlin Bulldogs are still seeking that first win of the season and will make the journey to Sweet Home on Friday, where the Bulldogs will face a Huskies team that is winless in Sky-Em League play and 1-4 overall.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and pregame coverage starts at 6:45 p.m. on i101 FM.
