ROSEBURG – The Roseburg Indians looks to build off of last week’s encouraging performance against Sheldon by taking down the North Medford Black Tornado on Friday night.
Roseburg is still winless on the season, but had their best offensive performance of the year last week. Sophomore quarterback Collin Warmouth provided a spark for the Indians in a back-up role against the Irish and will get another chance this week, as senior starter Sam Tibbets wasn’t cleared for action after suffering a concussion two weeks ago.
North Medford is coming off consecutive losses and will likely not only be looking to get back in the win column, but also to avenge a 36-35 loss to Roseburg last year. The Indians scored a late touchdown and went for two to win the game. It was the final win of former coach Thurman Bell’s career.
