ROSEBURG – The Roseburg boys soccer team visits the Willamette Wolverines in search of their first Southwest Conference win on Wednesday.

The Indians are winless in their last four games, but they have played close with their opponents over the past three games. Roseburg is 0-2-1 in its last three games, but the losses were all by just one goal. The Indians have been close, but just can’t seem to come out on the right side.

The Indians will try to get over the hump against the Wolverines, which have not had a loss all season. The contest kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

The Roseburg cross country team is hosting its only home competition of the season on Wednesday at Stewart Park. The Indians are hosting teams from around the region for the Umpqua Invite. The meet will include both high school and middle school runners.

Teams registered for the event include Roseburg, Douglas, South Umpqua, Glide, Willamette, and Grants Pass. The races will begin with the middle school teams at 4 p.m. and the high school teams will begin at 4:45 p.m.
