ROSEBURG – The Roseburg Indians have hired a new head coach for the boys and girls swimming programs.
Christy Todd was recently hired as the head coach of the Indians’ swim teams for the 2016-2017 season, Athletic Director Russ Bolin announced on Sunday. She will take over for Kathryn Zacher, who led the Indians for the past five years.
Todd was an assistant under Zacher last year and now takes over a program that saw the boys’ team finish 13th at state a year ago and sent two swimmers off to college competition.
Swim season officially begins practices on November 14 and competitions can start no sooner than November 30.
