NORTH BEND – The South Umpqua girls cross country team had a second place finish at the North Bend Tugman Invitational on Wednesday. The Lady Lancers have now finished first and second in their two races this fall.

Leading the way was sophomore Aneykah McCall, who set a personal record at the meet. McCall finished 5th overall with a time of 20:31. The mark beats her previous best by 11 seconds.

Junior Savannah Slay also finished in the top 10, placing 10th with a time of 21:45.
