EUGENE – The Oregon men’s basketball team might be without their leading scorer at the start of the 2016-17 campaign. According to reports from the Register Guard, Dillon Brooks had foot surgery last week and no timetable has been sent for his return.

The junior flirted with the NBA Draft this offseason, but elected to return to Oregon, where he led the team in scoring with nearly 17 points per game. Brooks earned 1st team All-Conference honors while leading the Ducks to an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Last month it was reported that Brooks was being held out of workouts after suffering a foot injury, but the specifics of the whole ordeal is unknown.
