CORVALLIS – The start of fall camp is right around the corner for college football teams and the Oregon State Beavers announced on Wednesday that the team will be taking camp on the road this year.
The Beavers’ football team will hold a practice open to the public at Summit High School in Bend on Saturday, August 6. The practice begins at 10:15 a.m. and will last until approximately 1 p.m. Benny The Beaver will be on hand and so will ticket reps for those interested in purchasing game tickets for the 2016 season.
Prior to the practice, on Friday, August 5, the Beavers are inviting fans to gather at Deschutes Brewery in Bend for a get-together. Fans will have the chance to take a virtual reality tour of the on-going $42 million renovation of the Valley Football Center, plus plenty of other exciting opportunities.
The Oregon State football team opens the season on September 1 at Minnesota.
