HOLLYWOOD, CA – The Pac-12 football media days begin Thursday at 9 a.m. in Hollywood, CA as the start of fall camps draw near. Conference commissioner Larry Scott is scheduled to make the opening statements before coach and player representatives from each Pac-12 school will take the stage to address the media.

P12_MEDIA_POLLOregon Ducks head coach Mark Helfrich will take the stage with running back Royce Freeman and linebacker Johnny Ragin III at 11 a.m. on Thursday. The Ducks were picked to finish third in the Pac-12 North division in the preseason media poll, released Thursday morning. Freeman, a junior for the Ducks, is considered a preseason contender for the Heisman Trophy.

Oregon State is scheduled to answer media questions on the second day of the event. Beavers’ head coach Gary Andersen will join wide receiver Victor Bolden and punter Nick Porebski on stage at 10 a.m. on Friday. Oregon State was picked by the media to finish last in the Pac-12 North after a two-win season in Andersen’s first year as coach.

Stanford was picked by the media to win the Pac-12 North division, while UCLA was picked to win the South division. The Cardinal are picked to win the Pac-12 championship game.

The 2016 football season begins Thursday, September 1 for the Oregon State Beavers with a visit to Minnesota. The Oregon Ducks begin the year on Saturday, September 3 with a home game against UC Davis.
