LEWISTON, ID – Winston native and Douglas High School grad Jeremiah Robbins will aim to win his second consecutive NAIA national championship on Friday as the head coach of the Lewis-Clark State College baseball team.
The Warriors will face top-seed Faulkner (Ala.) in the title game. Both teams have lost once in the double-elimination bracket, so the winner Friday will take home the title.
Robbins, now in his fourth year leading LCSC, has made it to the national championship game in each season as the head coach of the Warriors. After losing his first two attempts at the title, Robbins was finally able to finish the season with a victory in 2015.
This is Lewis-Clark State’s 20th appearance in the national championship game, which will be played on the Warriors home field in Lewiston, ID. The game begins at 6:35 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN3.
