Roseburg High School Girls Golf 2016

McKENZIE BRIDGE, OR – The Roseburg girl’s golf team qualified for the state tournament after winning its regional tournament on Monday at Toketee Golf Course.

The Indians had four golfers finish in the top 10, led by senior Kat De La Cruz, who shot an 84 to place third. De La Cruz finished four shots behind the leaders, Natalie Vlckova of Forest Grove and Emma Beyer of McMinnville. Roseburg sophomore Avry Hansen shot an 89 for a 7th place finish, followed by sophomore Brynn Pitts (90-9th), freshman Ally Sandfort (91-10th), and senior Ali Cooperrider (114-34th).

Roseburg junior Cole Dittemore will represent the boy’s team at state after qualifying for the tournament as an individual. Dittemore finished second with a round of 76. He finished his round six strokes off the lead.

The 6A boys and girls state golf tournament takes place May 16-17 at Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis.
