ROSEBURG – The Roseburg track & field team held its first competitive meet of the season on Wednesday against Grants Pass at Finlay Field in Roseburg. The Indians had a number of athletes win their events, but it wasn’t enough as Grants Pass swept the meet.

Feldkamp won the 400 meter race, while Cuilty took first in both the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles.

The Roseburg girls kept the team score just slightly closer, finishing behind Grants Pass 70-34. Junior Isabel Verduzco took first in both the long jump and the triple jump for the Indians, while senior Rebecca Sidlo won the 1500 meter race and sophomore Jessica Peterson placed first in shot put.
