PORTLAND – The Portland Trail Blazers are closing in on clinching a post season berth and the team will try to get one step closer when they host the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
The Blazers’ magic number is down to 5 with seven games left to play. Portland is at home for five of their final seven games, a good sign as the Blazers have the third best home record in the Western Conference since Jan. 10.
Portland is one of five teams currently battling for one of the final four spots in the Western Conference playoffs. Meanwhile, Boston is trying to secure a playoff spot and home court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
There’s a lot on the line for the Blazers and Celtics when they tipoff at 7 p.m. from Portland. Tune in for coverage of the game at 6:05 p.m. on 1490 The Score.
