BAKER CITY, OR – Senior Dani Baker scored 17 of her game-high 20 points in the second half to lead the North Douglas Lady Warriors to a 49-29 victory over Condon/Wheeler in the quarterfinals of the 1A state playoffs Wednesday.

Condon/Wheeler scored the first four points of the game, but North Douglas went on a 15-0 run to lead 15-4 going to the second quarter. The Knights closed the gap to seven points midway through the second period, but the Warriors returned the advantage to double figures before the half and kept the lead at 13 or more points the rest of the way.

Junior Kalli Frieze added 17 points for North Douglas, but no other player had more than four points for the Warriors. Emma Logan scored nine points to lead Condon/Wheeler.

North Douglas will face Hosanna Christian in the semifinals on Friday. The Lions beat Rogue Valley Adventist 34-27. This is the second consecutive trip to the semifinals for the Lady Warriors. The game is scheduled to tipoff at 1:30 p.m.
