UMPQUA VALLEY – The regular season is winding down for wrestling teams in the state of Oregon and teams around the Umpqua Basin begin district meets on Friday.

The Roseburg Indians went undefeated in conference duals and now head to Thurston looking to win another district title and get as many wrestlers to state as possible. The Indians have won back-to-back state titles and having a large contingent move on from districts to state could equal a three-peat. Wrestling starts at 4 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Glide Wildcats head to districts with 18 wrestlers taking part. The meet is being held at Cascade Christian High School in Medford. Glide has had a successful season, winning the Oregon Classic 3A team title, and has a strong chance at winning a third state title in four years.

Riddle and Oakland compete at their district meet Friday and Saturday at Crow High School in Eugene. Riddle has three wrestlers taking part, while Oakland has two.
