WINCHESTER, OR – After scoring a season-high 52 points in a win over Portland on Saturday, Umpqua Community College sophomore Anna Mumm was named the NWAC female Player of the Week on Tuesday. Mumm had a stellar week in leading the Riverhawks to two important victories.

She averaged 42.0 points per game last week and shot 70-percent from the field. Mumm also averaged 21.5 rebounds per game over the two-game span. Her 52 points against the Panthers fell one-point shy of tying the school record for points scored in a single game.

Entering the final two-and-a-half weeks of the regular season, Mumm currently leads the league in blocks with 3.12 per game. She is 7th in scoring (19.8 ppg) and rebounding (11.28 rpg) and 9th in field goal percentage (54.3%).

The Umpqua Lady Riverhawks are currently second in the South Region, 2.5 games behind first place Lane. UCC will next visit Linn-Benton Community College on Wednesday.
