The Oregon State Beavers have reportedly found their next defensive coordinator. According to the OregonianÕs Gina Mizell, Utah State defensive coordinator Kevin Clune will soon be named to the same role on Gary AndersenÕs staff in Corvallis.

Clune will replace Kalani Sitake, who left the Beavers after just one season to become the head coach at BYU. Andersen and Clune have worked together in the past at Utah State, Southern Utah, and Utah. Clune has been a defensive coordinator at Southern Utah, Weber State, Hawaii, and Utah State. His Utah State defense ranked 17th nationally in total defense this past season.

OSU is also reportedly set to hire Weber StateÕs Cory Hall as its new linebackers coach. Hall will take over for Ilaisa Tuiaki, who left the Beavers to become BYUÕs defensive coordinator under Sitake. Hall was a graduate assistant under Andersen at Wisconsin in 2014 and for a brief period at OSU before being hired at Weber State. He played safety for six years in the NFL.

The Oregon State football program has not officially announced these hires.
