The Roseburg girlÕs basketball team will play for fifth place at the Nike Interstate Shootout after defeating Western Mennonite 53-41 on Tuesday. The Indians did just enough to win what head coach Rich Robles called an Òugly game.Ó
Jessie Farrington once again led Roseburg in scoring, netting 10 points. Jordan Stotler added nine points for the Indians in limited action because of foul trouble.
Roseburg improved to 2-1 in the 16-team tournament and will face Tualatin on Wednesday for a fifth place finish. The game tips off at 8 a.m. from Lake Oswego High School.
