ROSEBURG – Roseburg wrestling claimed another shutout victory over a conference opponent on Thursday night. The Indians wrestled in just five varsity matches and had four wrestlers win by pin to down the Sheldon Irish 82-0.

The Tribe stays undefeated in conference duals with the victory. Winning matches by fall for Roseburg was Bennett Mesa, Layne Van Anrooy, Matt McDowell, and Parker Adair. Tristan David won by major decision.

The JV squad had to wrestle in just two matches and won its dual 84-0 thanks to pins by Doran Gillespie and Brandon Jeffers.

The Indians have a rare weekend off. Up next the team visits South Medford on Thursday next week, before the team hosts Crook County for a prime time non-conference showdown on February 4.
