Here’s a look at Friday’s high school football games from around the Umpqua Basin.

South Medford 51, ROSEBURG 0
The #6 Panthers (6-1; 4-0 SWC) proved why they are one of the top teams in the state, scoring seven touchdowns against the Indians. Roseburg (2-5; 1-4 SWC) reached the red zone three times, but struggled to finish off drives. Find the full game recap HERE.

North Bend 38, DOUGLAS 14
Elijah Wiegman threw two touchdown passes for Douglas (4-3; 2-2 FWL), but the Bulldogs proved to be too much for the Trojans in a battle for second place in the Far West League. North Bend (7-1; 3-1 FWL) stays tied with South Umpqua for second place, while Douglas falls to fourth place with one week left in the regular season.

South Umpqua 54, SIUSLAW 7
The Lancers (4-3; 3-1 FWL) stay in the chase for a second place finish in the Far West League with their best offensive output of the year. Creedence Ferguson had two touchdowns for South Umpqua in the win. The Lancers will face Douglas to finish the regular season next week.

Sweet Home 40, SUTHERLIN 8
Sutherlin’s Cade Meisner scored the Bulldogs only touchdown on a seven-yard run with 19 seconds remaining. Sutherlin (2-5; 1-3 Sky-Em) will finish the regular season with a game at Cottage Grove next week. Find the full game recap HERE.

COQUILLE / PACIFIC 34, Glide 26
Senior running back Cyller Cunningham had another big night scoring four touchdowns for the Glide Wildcats, but Coquille managed to hold off Glide in the second half. The Wildcats (4-3; 1-2 MVC) fell out of a playoff spot with the loss, but have two games left to climb back in.

North Douglas 54, MOHAWK 6
Running back Cal Parks scored four touchdowns and quarterback Brandon Rundell rushed for three scores to lead the Warriors to a big win over the Mustangs.

FALLS CITY 84, Yoncalla 32
Yoncalla’s Jordan Aguilar scored two rushing touchdowns, but the Eagles were no match for Falls City in a nonleague match-up.
