The Oregon School Activities Association officially announced the play-in game match-ups for boys and girls teams in the 4A classification on Tuesday night. Three Umpqua Basin teams will continue their season in the play-in round later this weekend.

The Douglas boys are set to travel to North Marion for their play-in game, while the Douglas girls will host North Valley. The Sutherlin boys are scheduled to host Klamath Union. Game times and dates have not been set, but should be announced sometime on Wednesday.

The 4A classification 16-team playoff brackets, as set by the OSAA, are filled with eight automatic qualifiers. Those teams are the eight league champions and the highest ranked second place team.

Eight more teams qualify for the state playoffs by winning a play-in game. Those match-ups are determined based on league standings and placement in the OSAA power rankings.

The Sutherlin girls basketball team has already punched its ticket to the playoffs by winning the Sky-Em League. The Lady Bulldogs will await their first round match-up after the play-in games are completed. They will begin the post season on March 4.
